Vancouver, BC, March 12, 2013 – The Afro News has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Segran Group Group LLC to cross-promote events, products and services organized and carried by either or both partners with the aim of raising funds for the SAGE Foundation under the auspices of Privilege Group Holdings.

THE AFRO NEWS is an award winning publication and leader of the Multi–Ethnic press delivering news, culture, sports and articles of interest to a diverse community of more than 2 million people. The 24 page tabloid size newspaper which is published in Vancouver, British Columbia, engages readers all over the world through its powerful printed words, its dynamic and daily online presence and through an active social media presence.

The Segran Group provides Marketing, Networking, Organizational Development and Human Resource services to its clients worldwide. Led by Sean Segran, the firm has recently signed an exclusive deal to market in Canada a new line of gourmet Barbeque Sauce by five-time world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield.

The funds will allow SAGE to develop and facilitate communication workshops and mentorship programs through partnership with schools and community groups to empower our youths.
