SAGE Foundation 2012 Sponsorship letter

Sage Foundation 2011 Awards Recipients

Sage Foundation 2011 Awards Recipients

27th November 2012  : Our 3rd Annual 2012 SAGE Foundation Awards Ceremony will take place on January 25, 2013 at The Georgian Court Hotel in Vancouver.

SAGE Foundation was established and registered as a non-profit organization in 2007.

In January 2011 we held our 1st Annual Awards Ceremony and a 2nd event in January 2012 that publicly recognized and awarded several individuals for their outstanding achievement in a variety of categories namely Scholastic, Sports, Multicultural and Community Leadership. The youth candidates that were chosen each received a scholarship award.

The Awards Events are content-rich and well-attended by members of the local community including many nominees and candidates, family members, members of the business community, as well as Municipal Legislative and Parliamentary Members. Canadian Senators Yonah Martin, Mobina Jaffer and Donald Oliver have provided us with enthusiastic support and we are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of the people connected to SAGE Foundation, leading to its success.

SAGE Foundation relies mostly on our own fundraising efforts and the support of local corporations and individuals and we feel that a sponsorship partnership would be very well represented.

We are happy that you may consider supporting us further with making a difference in the lives of the 2012 candidacy by sponsoring this event with a donation that will be presented in the form of a Scholarship Award to the chosen candidate.  A tax receipt will be issued for all monetary donations. In return of your sponsorship we will list your organization or name as our key sponsor on all our SAGE Foundation literature and announcements that are published in TAN (The Afro News) monthly news publication.

There is also an opportunity to present a nominee with a scholarship award in the name of your organization or to sponsor a portion of the cost of the event. We are open to discussing this option or any ideas you may have in this regard and can provide you with further details and a full break down of the likely costs of any arrangements.

I welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about this matter.

Thank you for your kind consideration and support.

Yours Sincerely,

Honore Gbedze

Founder/Co Chair
